Get ready, hunters! Monster Hunter Now has just dropped its most exciting update ever, Season 5: The Blossoming Blade. This major update brings a ton of new features, monsters, and gameplay improvements that will make both new and experienced players jump for joy. Let’s explore what’s new in this awesome update!

Welcome to Season 5!

Season 5: The Blossoming Blade kicked off on March 6, 2025, and it’s a game-changer! This season brings new challenges, monsters, and game improvements to keep things fresh and fun.

New Monsters and Quests

Meet the Newcomers!

Before Season 5 started, a new monster called Chatacabra joined the Monster Hunter Wilds series on February 28th. Now, with Season 5, two more monsters are here to keep you on your toes!

    • Glavenus: This fiery monster will appear in limited numbers on the field and in special Hunt-a-thons. Be prepared for some intense battles!
    • Arzuros: Arzuros is more common and can be unlocked in the Monster Tracker after completing specific quests. Keep an eye out for this one!

Monster Unlock Quests

Season 5 introduces a new type of quest called monster unlock quests. Complete these quests to bring back monsters from past seasons and make them appear on the field again. Some monsters will also become available in the Monster Tracker. Isn’t that cool?

You can look forward to quests for monsters like Radobaan, Pink Rathian, and Deviljho, among others. Get hunting!

Gameplay Enhancements

Improved Sword & Shield and New Skills

The Sword & Shield weapon type has been made even better! It’s now easier to target breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) has been updated to reward precise timing with enhanced performance, so you can show off your skills!

Two new skills have been added too: Shared Sword boosts attack power during group hunts, and Raw Power increases attack power but reduces weapon affinity. Time to strategize and level up!

Revamped Guard Skill

The Guard skill has been improved to give you greater damage reduction as your skill level increases. Now you can tank like a pro!

New Features and Items

Event Exchange Hub and Item Box Expansion

On March 17th, a new Event Exchange Hub will open, letting you trade materials for rewards during special events. Plus, you can expand your item storage by 250 slots with the Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item. No more cluttered inventory!

Season 5 Pass and Repost Campaign

Season 5 has a unique Season Pass, and while you can’t raise your Season 4 tier anymore, you can still claim rewards for a limited time. To celebrate the launch, there’s a repost campaign on X – if the post reaches 5,000 reposts, you’ll get exclusive materials for equipment upgrades!

Conclusion: A New Era for Monster Hunter Now

A Blossoming Experience Awaits!

Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is here, and it’s packed with new monsters, quests, and gameplay enhancements. Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or just starting out, this update promises exciting challenges and opportunities for growth.
